SUMMARY:A Walk at O'Brien Farm
DESCRIPTION:  \nSpringtime at O’Brien Farm\nJoin Gerry DiBello for a walk at the historic O‚ÄôBrien farmstead on Vose Rd. The trail leads through woods and fields\, by a pond and wetlands\, where birds abound. O‚ÄôBrien Farm has been permanently preserved by owner Charlie McColough. The farm has been owned by four generations of the O‚ÄôBrien Family since 1886 with a 19th century barn\, classic rock walls\, and a streetscape reminiscent of the 1880s\, the property is also an historic treasure. In 2013\, 23 acres of the private land was protected under a conservation restriction held jointly by the Town of Westford and the Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT). \nWalking is mostly flat and easy. Park at the farm or along the road in front. Folks can also park along Steeplechase Circle if needed. There will be a short talk about the farm‚Äôs history by Mr McColough.
