Please join Trust director Gerry DiBello who will explore the Beaver Brook trails from the end of Buckingham Drive. Trail highlights include raised earth features created by nature and by man that rise above Beaver Brook. Learn how Westford was shaped into the landforms we’ve come to admire. Sociable dogs on leash are welcome. Your trail guide will meet you at the Buckingham Drive trailhead. The walk is free of charge and no sign-up is required. DESCRIPTION:Looking for an engaging way to spend school break? Kids in grades K–4 are invited to join us at Sheep Hill for a 5-day adventure exploring how animals greet the spring season! \n When: Monday\, April 20\, 2026 – April 24\, 2026\, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM\n Where: Sheep Hill\, 671 Cold Spring Road\, Williamstown\, MA 01267 \nRegistration opens for members the week after Thanksgiving\, 2025. Registration for non-members\, if there are spots\, will open in mid-December. \nThis is an all-weather program\, and kids will enjoy outdoor activities rain\, snow\, or shine. However\, Williamstown Rural Lands reserves the right to delay or cancel programming if weather conditions are deemed unsafe. A light snack will be provided daily. Please plan to pack lunch for your camper. \nFinancial Aid\nFinancial aid is available to families who demonstrate a need\, offered on a first-come\, first-serve rolling basis. Kids programs will meet in the Dietze Interpretive Center\, a refurbished dairy barn\, or the Rosenburg Room\, an indoor classroom space in the farmhouse. Programs are mostly outdoors except for extremeweather. Outdoor spaces include our Nature Cabin exploration center\, Josiah’s Pond\, Hemlock Brook\, and all the fields and hedgerow forests at Sheep Hill.
