SUMMARY:Emmet Conservation Land Guided Hike at Texas Rd.
DESCRIPTION:Trail Description: Celebrate the end of summer with an enjoyable walk on the trails of the Nashoba Brook watershed led by Westford Conservation Trust Director Gerry DiBello. Most of this land is designated as priority habitat for rare and endangered species. The trails vary from smooth to a bit rugged and have minor elevation changes. Wear sturdy footwear appropriate to the weather. We will cross Nonset Brook and stop by Nashoba Pond. Walk is free of charge and no sign-up is required. Sociable dogs on a leash are welcome. \nLocation & Parking: Parking at the end of Texas Road at the Richard Emmet Conservation Land sign. The Trailhead is near 2 Sherlock Lane if using GPS. You may park on the grass all the way to the trail kiosk.\nDirections: Take Carlisle Road (Rt 225) to Jack Walsh Field. Turn right onto Texas Road to the end.
