Stroller and Wheelchair Friendly Trails

Most trails are in the woods, so roots and rocks are common. However, some utilize railroad beds or roads that do not allow motorized vehicles.

Bruce Freeman Rail Trail is paved, and popular with walkers, joggers and cyclists.

East Boston Camps (Stony Brook Conservation Land) has roads closed to vehicles most times, and several trails that are mostly stroller friendly, such as the trail along Stony Brook.

Stone Arch Bridge is a railroad bed.

The trolley line between Stony Brook School and East Boston Camps qualifies. Access is from the end of Beacon Street or Stony Brook Middle School near the oval track.
